Overview
CodeHelper is a privacy-first developer platform. All tools run entirely in your browser. No data you enter into any tool is ever sent to our servers. This policy explains what limited data we do collect, why, and how you can control it.
Data We Do Not Collect
- • We do not require accounts or registration of any kind.
- • No data you paste, upload, or type into any tool is transmitted to our servers. All processing happens locally in your browser.
- • We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for commercial purposes.
Cookies and Local Storage
We use browser storage for the following purposes.
Essential (always active)
Cookie consent preferences (cookieConsent.v1), podcast favorites and bookmarks, sidebar state. These are stored only in your browser and never transmitted.
Analytics (with consent)
If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, session duration, and browser type. This data is used solely to improve the platform. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Ads and Personalization (with consent)
If you accept advertising cookies, Google may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing behaviour. You can opt out at any time using the cookie preferences panel.
Third-Party Services
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Used for anonymous traffic analysis when consent is granted. Governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
PodcastIndex API. The podcast browser fetches data from PodcastIndex via a proxy on our server. No personal data is transmitted in these requests.
Unsplash. The homepage background image is served directly from Unsplash servers. Their standard CDN logging may apply.
Your Rights
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking the settings icon in the bottom right corner of any page. Since we do not store personal data on our servers, there is no account data to request, correct, or delete.
For any privacy related questions, contact us via the About page.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of CodeHelper after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
